Mobile Drying Units

Aerion’s mobile drying units are similar to centrifuges in that they subject drill solids to high G-forces. They differ, however, in that they use a wedge wire screen to separate solids from liquid. Normally, these units are used on wells that employ an oil-based or synthetic-based mud system. Mud costs are high in these situations and dryers reduce mud losses, thus providing cost savings.
